food for thought
the whole class have been asked about two questions
'why do we have to be a Muslim?'
'what kind of benefits we can achieve of being a Muslim or becoming a Muslim?'
it may seems simple, but think once again..why?me myself have been stucked about the answer..is it because we were born to Muslim parents?
no concrete answers..and sincerely,me myself ashamed of not being able to give the proper answer. What if the non-Muslims ask me these questions and what will I answer?not convincing enough...
The ustaz gave a simple analogy
He asked one of the students
"Do you willing to go to a far place this night if I asked you,and you must go there by walking?"
The student strongly shook his head, suggested 'no'
"How about if there waits big, luxurious presents for you.You name it,all your desirable things are there.will you or will you not?"
The student nodded, with spirits..by hook or by crook,he must reach there to get those desirable items eventhough he know that the journey might be hard and he will meet various obstacles.
Same goes with application in our real life
It's hard to become a good Muslim if we don't know what waits us in the hereafter.A good understanding is a must.Eventhough life sometimes gets hard, but we must endure it because what waits us in the hereafter is something that we all have been dreaming of.All the nikmat and wealth wait for the one whom succeed..(susah ngat eh nak cakap omputih..*quote,haha)
The walking in the analogy is learning process..It's sometimes hard, and not as easy as said, but to know Islam,to get succeed, all we need is
