"We have instructed man to honour his parents." (29:8)
Ok,let's get back to business.
It's been a while since my last time in home and one day, while listening to a kulliyyah accidentally I've drawn this
A picture of a girl holding to her father's hand while her father is still in praying mat.
Unconsciously.
The action may actually being driven by an event I've watched half an hour before that.
In Mosque, while waiting for Isyak prayer,I can vividly see a figure that looks just like my superhero ( my abah to be exact ).Really close to resemble him, just that my father do not wear any jubah or serban. From back view,it is really the same.
Then, his daughters and sons, around 5-9 years old come and tease him while him praying.
"seems familiar"-I used to be like that also
Pictures, memories came across my mind at that time. How fast time had fly
Never expected I had grown so much and my father still look exactly the same as I viewed him 17,16 years ago
A daughter is always a daughter right?
"Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor. And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: ‘My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood' "(17:23-24).
